Affiliate Radar (Niche: Internet Marketing / Affiliate Marketing) is my primary product and I can safely say, the most successful product so far.

History:
I designed Affiliate Radar with my partner Mark Roth who is a super affiliate. As they say, Necessity is the Mother of Invention it is very valid here. Mark needed several scripts to be written so that he could make more money by reducing his costs on advertising. Hence conversion tracking became our priority. Now, conversion tracking tools like Google Analytics used by Google Adwords has one limitation - You have to put the tracking code on the merchant’s success page. It was not always possible, especially while dealing with big corporations hence we had to use a differnet way to track conversions for every keyword, hence Affiliate Radar was born with the prime function of conversion tracking without using any code on the merchant’s site. Other necessities like Direct Linking was a problem. Not always do you want to host a new site / or use an existing web site to create a redirect as it affects your page rank and starting April 2008, Google has very clearly asked the advertisers to make sure the display URL and the destination URL must match. So Affiliate Radar was re-designed to allow direct linking campaigns.

Other features like Campaign Launcher and Offer Vault were added to save lot of time for Mark and the users of the application. In June 2007, we did a comprehensive research and learnt that there isn’t any other tool that takes care of each and every aspect of Affiliate Marketing like we added (direct linking, other traffic source tracking, original search term / long tail conversion tracking, Passing variable code to use landing pages instead of direct linking, etc). So we presented Affiliate Radar (also referred to as “AR”) to the panel at JV Alert in Philadelphia. We got a great response from the panel and other attendees and that is when we decided to launch it as a product. Since then, we have made several changes to make it more comprehensive and now we have a team of programmers working on further enhancements.



I take pride in Affiliate Radar, as a product. I have worked very hard to provide a great and efficient support to our members and most of them have acknowledged it, but lately I have been a little slow in responding to the tickets but thanks to our other members who have made the Affiliate Radar Forum a great learning resource. Access to Affiliate Radar forum alone gives you so much information about what is happening in the industry, how can you make more money, be smart and use Affiliate Radar more efficiently, that you will not find anything else, anywhere.
